John Capo was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and started playing Piano at the age of five.  John’s music career began when he started traveling across the United States and Europe performing music.  While living in Los Angeles John worked as an Arranger, Engineer, Programmer and Producer for Hangar 14 Studios. He was also a resident composer for the independent "NuValley Orchestra" creating symphonic and chamber style pieces. 

John's passion is playing and creating music. He has many years of experience as a Songwriter, Composer, Arranger, Pianist and Keyboard player, both recording and performing with live bands. John is a member of ASCAP. He composes music for Film, Television, Industrial and Corporate video. John has composed music for Farm Aid, Fujitsu corporate video, Cable and Fox Television. John's instrumental music earned the Featured Artist spot in the Soundtrack category at CD Reviews by you.

John offers his specialties as an accomplished musician to other singer/songwriters, assisting them with full production of their recording projects at his recording studio Wavelength Music.

In 2006, John produced 'Instead of Sleeping', the debut CD from Adult Contemporary band Midnight Siren. In addition to his production work on the album, John wrote seven of the tracks, as well as created the arrangements and Piano and Keyboard sounds for the album. Since the release of 'Instead of Sleeping', Midnight Siren has earned the Featured Artist spot in Jazz at CD Reviews by you. Each song on the CD has been chosen for the play lists of both Digital and FM radio stations worldwide. In February 2007, the music received a rave review from Editor David Cole of In the Basement Magazine, alongside Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross and a host of other exemplary musicians. 

 In December 2006, John completed production of 'A Walk in the Park' from Recording artist and Songwriter Christine Mariani. In April 2007, John released his debut Instrumental Smooth Jazz CD 'Dream on the Outside'. The music can be heard on FM and digital radio worldwide. John is currently working on a recording project due for release in January 2009.
