John Capo was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and started playing Piano at the age of five. John’s music career began when he started traveling across the United States and Europe performing music. While living in Los Angeles John worked as an Arranger, Engineer, Programmer and Producer for Hangar 14 Studios. He was also a resident composer for the independent "NuValley Orchestra" creating symphonic and chamber style pieces.
John's passion is
playing and creating music. He has many years of experience as a
Songwriter, Composer, Arranger, Pianist and Keyboard player, both
recording and performing with live bands. John is a member of
ASCAP.
He composes music for Film, Television, Industrial and Corporate video.
John has composed music for Farm Aid, Fujitsu corporate video, Cable and
Fox Television.
John's instrumental music earned the Featured Artist spot in the Soundtrack
category at
CD Reviews by you.
In 2006, John produced 'Instead of
Sleeping', the debut CD from Adult Contemporary band
Midnight Siren.
In addition to his production work on the album, John wrote seven of the
tracks, as well as created the arrangements and Piano and Keyboard
sounds for the album. Since the release of 'Instead of Sleeping', Midnight
Siren has earned the Featured Artist spot in Jazz at CD Reviews by you.
Each song on the CD has been chosen for the play lists of both Digital
and FM radio stations worldwide.
In February 2007, the music received a rave review from Editor David
Cole of In the Basement Magazine, alongside Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight,
Diana Ross and a host of other exemplary musicians.
