John Capo was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and started playing Piano at the age of five.  John’s music career began when he started traveling across the United States and Europe performing music.  While living in Los Angeles John worked as an Arranger, Engineer, Programmer and Producer for Hangar 14 Studios. He was also a resident composer for the independent "NuValley Orchestra" creating symphonic and chamber style pieces. 

John's passion is playing and creating music. He has many years of experience as a Songwriter, Composer, Arranger, Pianist and Keyboard player, both recording and performing  live. John is a member of ASCAP. He composes music for Film, Television, Industrial and Corporate video. John has composed music for Farm Aid, Fujitsu corporate video, Cable and Fox Television.

In 2006, John produced 'Instead of Sleeping', the debut CD from Adult Contemporary band Midnight Siren. In addition to his production work on the album, John wrote seven of the tracks, as well as created the arrangements and Piano and Keyboard sounds for the album.
David Cole, Editor of In the Basement Magazine, chose Midnight Siren for a featured review  alongside Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross and a host of other exemplary musicians. 

Also in 2006, John completed production of 'A Walk in the Park' from Recording artist and Songwriter
Christine Mariani. In 2007, John released his debut Instrumental Smooth Jazz CD 'Dream on the Outside'. John is currently working on his second Instrumental Smooth Jazz CD, due for release in 2010.
